Sound Bath

A Sound Bath
at the
Winthrop Estate
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a guided relaxation experience where the clear tones and gentle vibrations of crystal singing bowls invite the mind and body to settle into a meditative state. As the sounds of the bowls and other instruments rise and fade, they offer a simple point of focus—much like the breath in meditation. The bowls’ natural resonance fills the room and can be felt as well as heard, creating an immersive soundscape that encourages the body and mind, without any effort or concentration required, to soften, unwind, and drift into a deeply restful state.
