Wondrous fungi! I know almost nothing about these amazing growths but they do catch my eye while walking around this area. The only thing I know about them is that they are not edible. I also know they are doing something, playing their role in this ecosystem.
These brown mushrooms had white edges that seemed like they were glowing. Maybe even vibrating if I was able to see that energy!
This fungi was about 3" tall, and when I passed it the other day, the top was flat and resembled a shiitake, but the morning I took this picture, it had rained, and the mushroom top had bent into a cup and was holding water. So cool!
