I don't understand mushrooms at all. They seem mysterious and magical. Here two popped up in the tomato row. Maybe there is some rotting wood under this area, or maybe they are part of the web of mushroom tentacles that stretch from somewhere else. Or maybe a spore from a boot brought them here. They will look cute, like this, for a bit, and then they seem to disappear. I love eating mushrooms. Maybe one day we will grow shiitake. For now, we are not eating any mushrooms grown here!
