This photo is from a few weeks ago. I'm winding the top of the tomato plant around the twine so it climbs up. We are making a wall of vines so the tomatoes are easier to pick, so they are up off the ground, and so the leaves have plenty of sun. I'm happy to say, these plants are looking pretty good. I love the smell of the tomato plant. The fruit doesn't have that smell. The smell transports me to my ten-year-old summer self.
