Bees

We don't take the bees for granted. We put calendula seeds all around the edge of the garden. They like their new home and have come up strong. This first picture is from a few weeks ago, and in the second photo you can see the bright flowers are up and doing their job attracting and feeding the bees. We will collect the seeds at the end of the season and have plenty for next year. We could use the flowers for oils and balms, but so far that's not in the plan. We will focus on the edibles and leave these for the bees.
