With five elegant principal bedrooms, a beautiful two bedroom suite and a handful of additional bedrooms, we can accommodate your family of 17 plus 2 little ones and 3 children nicely.
Cocktails in the Library
Enjoy wines you are welcome to bring, and tasty spirits from Berkshire Distillery along with the good spirits of each other in the library with original purple heart wood panels, thoughtfully selected books, and maybe a crackling fire if you'd like.
Breakfast and Lunch in the Conservatory
Enjoy the light filled conservatory for breakfast and lunch surrounded by vibrant house plants and large windows thae fill three sides of the room featuring original terra cotta floors and 1920s brass window hardware.
Special Family Dinner
Why not plan a special dinner at the mansion? You can cook for yourself of we can connect you with a local chef and you can enjoy the dining room with its high ceilings, dentil molding and 36-arm chandelier. We have seating and tableware for 22.
Private yet close to town
With private woods and walking trails, a large lawn and many trees, the estate feels private and secluded. At the same time, we are half a mile from the downtown of Lenox. Take a stroll into town and visit the shops, and or favorite restaurant and bars, Brava and Ombra, as well as the patisserie, cafes and galleries.
Games and Games
Ping pong, foosball and play space on the third floor for kids and anyone who likes to play!

This is the front door. Inside you will find original details and modern amenities. Gardner Mattresses, Parachute linens, Wolf stove and appliances, a grill on the verandah, plenty of space for quality social time, as well as high chairs, tons of Legos, and woods to explore.

Within a short drive from the Winthrop Estate, you will find the Stockbridge bowl for swimming and paddle boating (with a local shop to rent boats near by), nice bars and restaurants, Miraval and the Lee public course for nearby Golf, Kennedy park for hiking, and much more.
