I have not grown lemongrass before but am enthusiastic about this first crop. We have a whole tray of starters, and it looks quite good to me! It's great to have as a tea, or use as a spice (dried and ground), or use fresh in Thai dishes or some delicious Lemongrass soup! But I'm getting ahead of myself. These little guys have a lot of growing to do. This is an annual in New England. It can grow big, like 4' diameter and 4' tall. Theoretically. Hoping this bunch adapts to its new home in Lenox. Did I also mention, it's good for reducing blood pressure?
