Our fence is working well. We see evidence of deer around the property, but not inside the fence. This fences about 8' tall, and the posts are in holes that are about 3-4' deep. The wire is strong and well secured. The fence is also our barrier for weeds. We keep the surrounding weeds pretty well trimmed inside the fence area. If we decide to grow greens in this space next year, which would probably grow very well here, we will need to add some more wire to the bottom 3' to try to prevent the rabbits from devouring our buffet. We tried that on one section and it was pretty easy so we would just need a roll of smaller rectangles.
