This is Purslane. It is often called a weed. It grows in gravel paths where people don't usually want it. Not sure how it found its way to my garden, but I am happy it did. It takes no care here, and is totally edible and delicious in salads. It has a lemony flavor, and I like the texture, which is not a floppy leafy plant, but more of a crisp leaf with substance. I eat the top parts of the stems too.
