Colorful Corn

This is our second bunch of painted corn. It's usually used decoratively, but each one of ours has something not quite perfect about it, so I don't want to use it as decorations. The birds tasted a bit of each. I do find myself staring at the colors of the kernels as they are drying in the sun. I can't figure out how to arrange them to make them decorative. So, I will probably pop the kernels off and grind them as this type of corn is great for polenta. I can't wait to taste this one! I'm thinking it will be in early winter when I get around to that, a great time for some warm polenta!
